Viewing project details in Projects list

You can view various project details at a glance, in tabular format, in the Projects list.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Trados Team (by accessing this link: http://languagecloud.sdl.com/lc).
  2. Go to the Projects view.
  3. Identify the project row of interest and consult the information in the available columns: NAME, LANGUAGES, PROGRESS, OVERDUE TASKS, ERRORS, DUE, COST, STATUS, LOCATION, PROJECT TEMPLATE. Select the numbers displayed in the ERRORS column, to be redirected to the actual Error tasks and their details.
  4. To manage the columns displayed in the Projects list, for each column, select the right-hand corner of the column header, and do one of the following.
    • Sort the column in ascending or descending order.
    • Select Columns, and select the check boxes for the columns you want enabled: Description, Progress, Overdue Tasks, Errors, Project Template, Words, Created, Last modified, Created by, Cost, Status, Project Managers, Group, Short ID. Disable any columns you do not need.
    • Identify the NAME column and expand the column header name by selecting the downward triangle symbol. Select Custom Fields. Select the check boxes corresponding to the custom fields you want displayed as columns in the Projects list. A column is added for each custom field you selected. If the custom field gets updated (e.g. renamed or deleted), this is also reflected in the Projects list after a refresh. Note that, while there is no limitation to the number of columns you can add, a large number of columns can make the Projects list harder to scroll.
  5. To view the details of a project, select the project check box and consult the information in the right-hand side panel:
    • ID - This is the project ID generated automatically by the system.
    • Short ID - This is the user-friendly format of the project ID generated automatically by the system. It is a number which starts at 1 and which gets incremented with each project you create. For example, if you create 3 projects one after another, the first project ID will be 1, the second project ID will be 2, and the third project ID will be 3.
