This section offers information on some of the advanced features you can perform in Content Manager Explorer.
- Setting your user preferences
Use the Info Bar at top right to configure your personal preferences: user interface language and regional settings (locale). - Recommended system display properties
To optimize how your browser displays the user interface, set your screen resolution to at least 1024x768, and be sure to use small icons. - Remembered settings
When you close your browser the Content Manager Explorer remembers a number of settings implicitly. - Search
Search for Content Manager items by entering search input. Your search input can contain words that occur in the items; operators; or a Content Manager URI (a unique identifier for a Content Manager item). You can also specify where to search, in which time period to search, how many results to return, and so on. - Search Folders
Search Folders display the results of a search. When you open a Search Folder, the folder lists all of the items that match your search. You can create a Search Folder in any Folder in a Publication. You can create, delete, edit, localize and unlocalize Search Folders. - Keyboard shortcuts for Content Manager Explorer

WebDAV Connector enables you to access an instance of the Content Manager from a client machine and to navigate and use Publications and folders in the Content Manager as folders in a file system. - User Generated Content
User Generated Content (UGC) allows visitors to your website to rate content and read and leave comments. Content Manager users can examine ratings and comments, and authorized users can disallow rating and commenting for specific Components or Pages, and edit, remove and moderate comments.
