Specifying the task route for the Workflow
Perform these steps to specify the task route for the Workflow.
Procedure
- Click Create New Task Route.
- Click the Start task and then the task that follows it.
Note: To create a task route going from one task to another and back again, create the first route then create another route that goes in the opposite direction.
- Continue to do this in the order in which you want the ContentRoutingProject or the Project to flow until all tasks in the task route have been linked.
Make certain the full task route (a task route that flows without breaks from the Start task to the End task) has been established.Note: If the task routes do not display correctly, you may have positioned the task icons too close to one another—move the location of the task icon so it has additional space between it and the next task. To move the task icons, click and hold down the mouse button on the icon and drag it to the new location. Release the mouse button when it is positioned correctly and the task route displays correctly.
- To remove a task route, select the arrow between the tasks then click Edit > Cut.
