Connecting to Contenta from the editor

Contenta S1000D editor tools require a connection to Contenta from the editor. In most cases, this connection is established when the editor is first launched.

When Oxygen XML Author launches, if no connection between Contenta and the editor exists, a dialog prompts for Contenta user name and password. After valid credentials are entered, the Contenta S1000D will be available.

In Arbortext Editor, it may be necessary to establish a connection manually in some instances. Refer to Connecting to Contenta from Arbortext Editor in this section for details on doing so.
