Using Tridion Sites with DXA
This section describes tasks relevant to individuals who use Tridion Sites with DXA installed to manage the content that is published and presented on their DXA-based website.
- Using the DXA BluePrint
The DXA installation process includes the option of importing sample Publications, which make up a simple, linear BluePrint. You can integrate these Publications in your existing BluePrint and reuse existing content, or you can create a new, separate BluePrint hierarchy. - Creating Tridion Sites Pages
Use Tridion Sites's Experience Manager to create new pages from DXA standard Page Types. - Using content from Tridion Docs on Tridion Sites webpages
The DXA Tridion Docs Mashup module enables you to present structured content (in the DITA standard) together with Tridion Sites content from the same DXA web application, including mixed content on the same webpage. - Managing other website content
In addition to creating the Pages for your website, you can also use Tridion Sites to manage the additional content and resources used with your site's Pages, such as headers and footers. - Configuring the web application for multilingual websites
Configure Tridion Sites Publications to function as a multilingual website, which displays a language selector drop-down list that enables users to select the language. - Integrating with social media
Digital Experience Accelerator is linked to social media by links to your company social media pages in the footer, by links to shared content on social media on certain types of page, and by metadata included in the pages enables social media platforms to understand the content on your site.
