Managing the Content Package Server on Windows
How to start and stop the Content Package Server and manage Java options on Windows.
Starting and stopping the Content Package Server from the system tray
You can staty and stop the Content Package Server directly from the system tray, which is located to the right of the Windows Task Bar.
To do so, right-click the Content Package Server icon in the system tray and select Start service or Stop service.
Starting and stopping the Content Package Server from the Services window
To manually start or stop the Content Package Server from the Services window, do the following.
- On the server where the Content Package Server is installed, select Start and then type Services.
- From the list of services, select LiveContent S1000D Mobile Content Package Server.
- From the Action menu (or the right-click shortcut menu), select Start or Stop.
Managing Java options
You can change the Java options, and stop or start the Content Package Server services directly from the system tray, which is located to the right of the Windows Task Bar.
- Right-click the Content Package Server icon in the system tray and select Configure.
- Select the Java tab on the LiveContent S1000D Content Package Server Properties window to manage Java options. Be sure to specify the correct values for the Java location whenever you reinstall Java on your system.
