Creating a project

Procedure

  1. Click Home tab > New to display the Project Setup dialog.
  2. Enter a name for the new project in the Name field. For example, MyProject.
  3. Enter the directory where you want to save the project in the Location field.
  4. Click the Add Source... button and select the source files that you wish to translate. For more information, see Adding source files.
  5. In the Properties - Source List - dialog, select the language of your source files and configure any other required settings. For more information, see The Source String List Properties Dialog.
  6. Click OK to go back to the Project Setup page.
  7. Select the Target Languages tab and click the Add language button to select the languages into which you wish to translate the source files via the language dialog .
  8. To add more than one target language, click the Add Language button again.
  9. You may also want to adjust the standard target path rules so that the resulting target paths are created according to your requirements. To do so, click the Target Rules button. For further information on this, see Target Path Rules .
  10. Click OK to close the Project Setup page and open the new project.
