Dynamic Documentation home page management

How your published publications are displayed on the home page depends on settings that you make in the Content Manager Web Client and in Publication Manager.

Publication properties

The grouping of publications into families and, inside families, the ordering based on versions of your publications depend on the setting of two publication properties:
  • Product family name
  • Product release name

Before publishing any publication to a Dynamic Delivery presentation environment, such as Dynamic Documentation, you need to set a value to these properties so the published result is displayed correctly on the home page.

Setting those properties can be done either in Publication Manager or in the Web Client. The procedures are described in the Content Manager usage section of this documentation.

Output format properties

The visibility of your publication is based on the value of one Dynamic Delivery output format property: Dynamic Delivery Remote Status.

Your content may be published, and deployed, but not made visible if this property is set to Offline. Your published content can be accessed by visitors if the property is set to Online.

Setting those properties can be done either in Publication Manager or in the Web Client. The procedures are described in the Content Manager usage section of this documentation.
