Review

Translators pick up review jobs directly from their task lists.

Before you begin

You must be a Translator with the appropriate permissions within the group matrix to be able to view review tasks assigned by Translation Leads.

About this task

A review task is only available for action in your task list once the associated translation task has been completed, otherwise the review task shows with a Pending icon.

Procedure

  1. Within your Helix task list navigate to the job with a Review task type status.
  2. Check the box for the task.
  3. Scroll to the quick view area at the bottom of the page and review the details of the job.
  4. Click Start to begin working on the task.
  5. Use the Stop button to pause reviewing, for example when taking a break. Click Start to begin tracking time again when the break has finished.
  6. When the review is complete:
    1. Enter a translation Comment for the Translation Lead and PMO office to view.
    2. Enter the Reviewed File Location subfolder.
    3. If the task was outsourced to an external vendor and the delivery was late, amend the On-Time Delivery score. The more impactful the delay is, the lower the score should be. Please take into consideration the delay itself, but also any heads-up the external vendor might have provided.
  7. Click Complete.
