You can add more than one equivalent in any target language to a term record or more than one synonym in the source language.
Procedure
- Click on Modify at the record level or on New at the level of the main term.
The Term Manager window displays.
- Click Add.
- Enter your new equivalent in the Translation field.
- Select the language of your equivalent in the Language drop-down list. To create a synonym, select the source language.
- Select the Translation Status in the Translation Status drop-down list.
- Fill in the appropriate fields in each of the other tabs.
- When you are finished, click the Apply button to save your new translation.
- If you have created a synonym, click Yes to the prompt Term and translation language are the same. Continue?.
