Configure the List of Languages

Configure the list of languages users can choose from.

About this task

It is important that the language codes used within Flow match the language codes used within your MultiTrans TextBase TMs and TermBases, in order to retrieve proper matches with the Flow Machine Tasks.

Procedure

  1. From the TMS vertical sidebar, click Settings.
  2. On the Administration page, in the List Administration section, click the Languages link.
  3. To add a new language:
    1. Scroll down to the New section.
    2. Although you can enter the details for any language yourself, to save time select a language from the New (Please Select a Language) field.
    3. In the recognized languages of operation, from left to right, the official names, abbreviations, code, and culture code are automatically populated for you.
    4. Click Save to save the new language.
  4. To add multiple languages, click the Add many languages button.
  5. In the Add Languages window, select one or more languages.
    1. Scroll down to view more languages.
    2. When finished, click Add.
  6. To validate the list of languages, click the Validate this list button.
    1. The OK icon indicates your language details are valid.
    2. The Warning icon indicates your language entry is missing one or more details. Position your mouse over the icon to view a tooltip describing the validation problem.
  7. On the Languages tab, in the list of languages, click Edit to change a name, abbreviation, or code.
    1. Click Save to save your edits.
    2. Click Cancel to cancel any changes.
  8. 8. Click Delete to delete a language from the list.
