Renaming a Local TermBase

You can rename a local TermBase just as you would rename any other file on your computer.

Procedure

  1. Go into the Windows directory in which your TermBase is saved (by default, C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\MultiTrans\TermBases), right-click on it and select Rename. Rename the TermBase, but do not modify the extension (TMB3).
  2. You may also choose to rename the TermBase directly from within MultiTrans. To do so, open the TermBase in MultiTrans. From the TermBase Editor, choose the File menu then Save As…. Select a new name for your TermBase.
  3. The next time you access your TermBase, you must browse for it again from the Start session window.
