Terminology Record Details and Search

The right-side panel of the TermBase Editor displays details for the selected term and its equivalents (Details tab), and is also used to access advanced search options (Search tab).

The Details tab displays information about each record contained in the active TermBase. In the top right-hand part of the Details tab are a series of icons that allow you to determine which information displays in the panel. These icons act as switches which turn on or off the various data fields displayed in the Details tab.

Show record fields: Click on this icon to display or hide any fields available at the record level (i.e. Created date/by, Modified date/by) in the Details tab.
Show empty fields: Click on this icon to display or hide all empty fields (i.e. available fields which contain no information).
Show footers: Click on this icon to display or hide the footers, or system fields, for the record as well as the source and target term(s) (i.e. Created date/by, Modified date/by).
Show term definitions: Click on this icon to display or hide any definitions that have been added to a source or target term.
Show definition fields: Click on this icon to display or hide any existing definition fields (these will only be displayed when the Show term definitions icon is selected also).

The Search tab allows you to search through open TermBases to find specific information.
