The Advanced Search
Within the Advanced Search, a variety of more complex options are available. Some criteria are also available in the Simple Search mode.
The additional options are as follows:
- Project No.
- Search for a specific project number.
- Project Group
- If you organize your projects by project groups, you can identify a particular one for which all projects will be displayed. For example, if you use conference names as projects, enter a conference name to view all projects concerning that particular conference.
- Project Manager
- From the drop-down menu, select all projects managed by a particular Project Manager.
- Customer Number
- Enter a customer number to view all projects from a particular customer.
- Bill To
- Identify all projects being billed to a particular contact.
- Languages (src and dst)
- Use the Languages field to identify projects with specific source language or with one or more specific target languages. Click the + icon to select one or more target languages; you will also be able to choose the Logical Operator (AND or OR). For example, if you wish to view all projects created into both German and Chinese, click the + icon beside the Languages field, select both German and Chinese with the Logical OperatorAND. If, on the other hand, you want to search for projects translated into one of them, at least, select the operator OR.
- Task Target Language
- If you only want to use the target language of a task as a filter criterion, select the relevant language in the drop-down menu available.
- Task status
- Select a particular Task Status (Not Started, Started, On Hold, Completed or Not Completed) to view all projects where at least one task has the selected status. For example, to view all tasks in progress by a particular provider, select that provider from the Providers field and choose a Task Status of Started.
- Unassigned Tasks
- Select All will identify all projects in which at least one task has not been assigned. For selected target language(s) will be available if you have selected at least one destination language in the Languages field; selecting this option will identify all projects in which at least one task in any identified target languages is not assigned. If, for example, you are only interested in viewing those projects for which a task into Russian has not been assigned, select RUS as a destination language in the Languages field and then check the For selected target languages checkbox.
- Contains a new document
- Select this option to identify all projects where a new source document has been added but not handled yet.
- Pool Status
- Select this option to identify all projects with any of the options No Pooling, Pooling Allowed or Pooling Allowed with Approval.
- Team
- Use the Team option to identify all projects allocated to a particular team. For example, if you manage the desktop publishing team, you could view only those projects for which your team has an assigned task or a task available for pooling.
- Project Late
- Check this option to search for all projects that, according to the delivery date set, are late.
- Project Late (days)
- Check this option to specify the amount of time passed since the delivery date was reached.
- Task Late
- Check this option to search for all tasks that, according to the delivery date set, are late.
- Word Count
- Use this option to search for project with a minimum or maximum number of words.
- No word count entered
- Check this option to search for all projects that have no word count.
- No hour count entered
- Check this option to search for all projects that have no hour count.
- Project type
- Check this option to search for all projects have a specific type, Project or Quotation.
- Quotation required
- Check this option to search for all projects that require a quotation.
