Configuring SDL Edit file types
Configure SDL Edit file type settings, so that you customize the way SDL Edit documents (ITD files) are processed during translation or review.
Procedure
- Decide for which projects you want to configure file type settings:
- For the active project, go to the Projects view, and on the Home tab, select Project Settings.
- For all future projects, go to .
- Expand the File Types list, and select SDL Edit.
- Select the General page and choose what happens During file parsing. Select:
- Automatically confirm 100% matches to put 100% matches to status translated when the file is open in the editor.
- Set copied or empty target segments as draft to set target segments that are empty or have identical content to the source segment to the draft status. If not selected, the segments are set to the not translated status.
- Select the QuickInsert page.
- Specify QuickInsert settings to insert tags and formatting, or to insert text and special characters.
- Select OK.
