You can add the template to create new images in the client tools.
Before you begin
- You must be a member of the system administration user group.
- You must have permission to edit and store objects in the Content Manager repository.
Procedure
- Login to the Content Manager web client.
- Create an empty image template:
- Open System --> Editor template then select Illustrations.
If the Illustrations folder does not exist, create one by clicking on the New Folder icon in the upper left pane.
- Click the New Object icon in the upper right pane.
- Enter the name of this image in the Title field.
- Select or enter other optional information if necessary, then click Next in this and the next, add language, window.
- Select the Resolution from the list.
- Verify that the Format matches the type of template file you have.
- Click Browse next to the File field in the Add Image Document Language window.
- Select the file to use as a template.
Note: For example, Content Manager delivers an empty template file on the application server that can be used as a template for png images: \InfoShare\Web\Author\EnterViaUI\System\Editor Templates\Illustrations\EmptyGraphic.png
- Release the template so users can select it.
- Under the Repository tab in the Content Managerweb client, open System --> Editor template then select Illustrations.
- In the upper right pane, select the template you added.
- Select the version and language in the bottom right pane
- Click Properties from the menu on the bottom right
- In the Image Document Language Properties window, select Released from the Status list.
- Click Modify.
