Adding a new Audience Manager Target to a Content Delivery environment

A description of how to add a new Audience Manager Target to an existing Content Delivery environment.

Procedure

  1. Create a new Synchronization Target. Do not enter the URLs to the Synchronization servers yet. Make a note of the Item ID of the newly created Synchronization Target.
  2. Install a new Audience Manager target on the Content Delivery environment.
  3. When you register the new Capability, use the ItemId of the newly created Synchronization Target for the new target's name.
    You should now have a new Audience Manager Service, a new Audience Manager Synchronization Endpoint, as well as the Audience Manager API (RESTful) installed to an existing Content Delivery web application.
  4. Add the SynchronizationTarget to one or more Publications. This will enable the AudienceManagerCapability for that Publication / SynchronizationTarget combination, so that the already installed Audience Manager REST API can now be used.
