Workflow settings
You can configure Workflow in the Workflow settings section of SDL Web Content Manager configuration.
Procedure
- Start the MMC Snap-in by selecting Programs > SDL Web > SDL Web Content Manager configuration in the Microsoft Windows Start menu.
- Navigate to the Workflow settings section.
- Configure the following settings:
Setting Value Automatic Trustee ID The internal ID of the trustee that is used to execute automated Workflow tasks, the Workflow Agent; defaults to the ID of the user NT Authority\System, that is, 3.Number of threads for running automated scripts The number of threads that Content Manager can use to run automated Workflow activity scripts. This setting allows you to scale out the servers used to run different services. Defaults to the value 64. Seconds before a time out error is generating when executing a Workflow script (0 for no timeout) The amount of time in seconds during which a Workflow script is run before it results in a timeout error; defaults to the value 900. Start workflow process on rollback If set to the value 1 (enabled), a Workflow Process is started when you roll back an item with an associated Workflow to a previous version; defaults to the value 0 (disabled). - Restart IIS and COM+ to ensure updated settings are used—for performance reasons, the processes that use the MMC Snap-in settings cache them in memory.
