On the Classic interface, you have roughly the same searching options as on the WorldServer 11 interface, except for the fact that you can only search for projects.
Procedure
- In WorldServer, go to the Projects page.
- On the Projects page, in the Project View list, select the view to which you want your search criteria to apply.
Important: Filters are linked to the view that you select. For example, if you create a filter based on multiple search criteria on the projects assigned to me view, that filter is only available when you select that view. If you select another view, such as active projects for my locales and workgroups, the filter you created on the projects assigned to me view is not available.
- Select the Search panel check box.
- In the Search In list, select a search criterion, and then, in the Search For box, enter the appropriate information.
Depending on the criterion you selected, in the
Search For box, you might need to:
- Enter one or more words.
- Select an option in a list.
- Enter a range of numeric values.
- Specify dates.
- Do one of the following:
- To add a criterion without searching it immediately, select Add criteria
. You might do this if you want to search for projects that meet multiple criteria at the same time.
- To search immediately without adding the criterion, select Find now
.
- After adding the first criterion, you can:
1 If you apply a filter, that filter is still applied whenever you return to the
Projects page on the view on which it was created – even after you log out from
WorldServer. To view all the projects on that view, select
Clear search
.
