Configuring continuous jobs

Using continuous jobs automatically submits all the new and updated content to the configured translator.

About this task

Each job has its specific language pair. To translate content from and into different languages, you need to configure multiple jobs.

Procedure

  1. Go to Management > Administration > Translation > Jobs, and then select Add continuous job.
  2. Select the source language and target language in the appropriate lists.
  3. Expand the CONTINUOUS SETTINGS section and select the appropriate content type.A screen shot of the CONTINUOUS SETTINGS and CONTENT TYPE sections.
  4. Expand the CONFIGURE PROVIDER and CHECKOUT SETTINGS sections and do the following:
    1. Select a value in the Project Options Name list.
    2. Enter a name and a description for your project in the Project Name and Project Description boxes.
    3. Select a due date.
    4. Save your settings. A screen shot which shows a sample configuration.

What to do next

Do one of the following:
  • To check that files have been sent to translation, go to Translation > Job Items.
  • To edit a continuous job, go to Translation > Jobs and select Manage next to the appropriate job.
Continuous jobs have the sign next to their name.
