Project handling
During creation, progress, completion and cancellation, there are several ways the projects are handled.
- Batching of translation jobs is performed during high load or with large projects. The process can be configured in the OSGi. When users create a project, the project moves into the Submitted status and runs in the background until ready to move to the next stage.
- When a project is created and one of the language jobs fails, the AEM Cloud connector handles the workflow error and proceeds with the project creation.
- When a project is cancelled at the approval stage, the AEM Cloud connector sets the project as Inactive. The Project Overview screen briefly displays the project with a strikethrough before being marked as Cancelled and displayed via the Active/Inactive toggle switch. A cancelled project has the files and assets removed from the language copies created within the project creation wizard.
- When a project is manually cancelled from Trados, the AEM Cloud connector updates the project status as Cancelled. This feature can also be used to manually cancel individual languages in a project after the project is started.
- When a project is accepted at the Ready for Review stage, the AEM Cloud connector sets the project as Completed. The project is also completed in Trados. The same applies if the Automatically Approve Translations options is enabled during the project creation process.
- If you retry a failed project, all the project assets are removed from both AEM and Trados. Then, the project is re-created with the same assets and details. The project name is appended with a version number, and then restarted.
