User setup by lead project managers
As lead project manager in the Customers folder or a specific customer folder you can do more things than project managers from various locations. Therefore, it is important to understand how the location your store your user groups in impacts the way users can see, use, edit, delete resources, and the way user groups can be assigned to tasks.
This topic explores the impact of location on inviting users into groups and assigning users to project tasks:
- As lead project manager in a Customers folder (user included in the Lead Project Manager group in the Customers folder)
- As lead project manager in a specific customer folder (user included in the Lead Project Manager group in a customer folder)
- As project manager in the Root folder (user included in the Project Manager group in the Root folder)
- As project manager in a specific customer folder (user included in the Project Manager group in a customer folder)
Access to resources is governed by the location of the groups a user belongs to.
