Copiar usuarios asignados en las tareas de flujo de trabajo

You can copy assignees when creating or configuring workflows, project templates, and projects.

Por qué y cuándo se efectúa esta tarea

  • You can copy and paste assignees in the workflow you are currently editing, not across workflows.
  • You can copy and paste users and VOTs depending on various criteria.
  • At the moment, there are two options for viewing workflows and interacting with them: the Vertical view and the Phases view. The information in this topic refers to the Vertical view. For more information about the Phases view, see Phases view for workflows.

Procedimiento

  1. Scenario 1 - Tasks related to the entire project (Error, Project Planning etc) - For this scenario, you can copy only user assignees, not groups or VOTs.
    1. Assign users to a task (which relates to the entire project).
    2. Copy the assigned users. To do this, expand the menu next to Assign task, and select Copy Assignees Copy assignees at task level.
    3. Identify another task (which relates to the entire project). Expand the menu next to Assign task, and select Paste Assignees Paste assignees at task level.
  2. Scenario 2 - Tasks related to files (Translation, Linguistic Review etc) - For this scenario, you can copy user assignees and group assignees.
    1. Assign users to a task (which relates to files) for all languages or only one language.
    2. Copy the assigned users. To do this, identify the language whose users you want to copy. Expand the menu at the end of the language row, and select Copy Assignees.
    3. Paste the assigned users to other languages of the same task or of different tasks. Identify the task you want to paste to, expand the menu at the end of the language row, and select Paste Assignees.
    4. Copy and paste assignees from one task to another is possible from task level if the tasks have the same languages. If you assigned users or groups to all the target languages of a task, all the users from the first task are copied to the second task. Copy the assignees from a task by expanding the menu next to Assign task, and selecting Copy Assignees Copy assignees at task level. Then, identify the copy you want to paste to, expand the menu next to Assign task, and select Paste Assignees Paste assignees at task level.
  3. Scenario 3 - Tasks related to files (Translation, Linguistic Review etc) - For this scenario, you can copy VOT assignees.
    1. Assign VOTs to a task (which relates to files) for all languages or only one language.
    2. Copy the assigned VOT users. To do this, identify the language which already has VOT assignments. Expand the menu at the end of the language row, and select Copy Assignees.
    3. Paste the assigned VOT users. Paste is available only for the languages supported by the VOT and only within or for the same task type. For example, if you have a VOT configured for French and German, and a Translation task configured for French, German, and Spanish, you can copy the VOT assignees to the French file, and to the German file of the Translation task, but not to the Spanish one. Moreover, you cannot copy the assignees to the Linguistic Review task for example, because VOTs are configured per task types. Identify the task you want to paste to, expand the menu at the end of the language row, and select Paste Assignees.
    4. Copy and paste VOT assignees from one task to another is possible from task level if the tasks have the same languages and are of the same type. If you assigned only VOTs to all the target languages of a task, expand the menu next to Assign taskCopy assignees at task level, and select Paste Assignees Paste assignees at task level. All the VOT users from the first task are copied to the second task. If a workflow is based on a custon workflow template which allows for the multiple iteration of the same task type, then the copy and paste of VOT assignees across same-types tasks can be done.
