Integrating Microsoft Power BI with Trados Customer Portal

Make sure that you have the appropriate entitlements and permissions in Trados Customer Portal, and then connect to the appropriate OData feed in Power BI.

Before you begin

You need the Client_Portal entitlement on your package. You also need the following permissions:
  • Customer Portal (UI_CLIENT_PORTAL_READ) in the Customer Portal section – To log in to Trados Customer Portal.
  • Costs (UI_CLIENT_PORTAL_COST_READ) in the Customer Portal section – To see cost information and cost-related fields.A screen shot of the permissions that need to be selected in the Customer Portal section.
  • List in the Projects section – To see the list of projects.

Procedure

  1. In the Power BI Desktop application, on the Home ribbon, select Get data > OData feed.
  2. In the OData feed window, enter the following URL: https://languagecloud.sdl.com/tm4lc/biA screen shot of the URL you need to enter.
  3. Select OK.
