Adding a new workflow status

These steps describe how to add a status that can be used in the workflow.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to Organize Space.
  2. On the top tab level, select the Settings tab.
  3. On the second tab level, select the System tab.
  4. On the third tab level, select the Status Definitions tab.
  5. Select Add new at top right.
    An Add new status dialog opens.
  6. Under Status name, fill in your name for the status.
  7. Under Status type, set the type of the status, one of the following:
    • Draft status - items with this status type can be modified without creating a new version or branch.
    • Released status - items with this status type can no longer be modified; only a new version or branch of the item can be created.
  8. Select Save to commit your changes, close the dialog and add this new status definition to the list.
