- Can I publish a map or a single topic?
For proofing or testing, you can publish a map or single topic independent of a publication. - How can I reuse a topic?
It is necessary to understand the Content Manager GUID to understand the concept of reusing objects in your maps and publications. - Can I change permissions on folders?
You can not change permissions on a folder but you can use a workaround. - How can I locate an object in a publication?
You can determine if an object is in your publication and find its location in Publication Manager. - How can I make a branched version become unbranched?
You cannot unbranch a version however you can carry changes from a branch, to a higher version in the main version tree. - How can I clean up the event log?
Use Organize Space to clean the event logs when they become too large and take too long to load and display. - Can I specify a shared network directory for all publication exports?
You can post all publication exports to a single, shared location. - How can I mark text that should not be translated?
Text that should not be translation may be marked so no translation takes place. - Can I hide a folder of topics used in a publication?
You can hide a folder of topics so they don't show in search results or when browsing the repository, but remain part of existing publication. - Can I determine from which server my publication is being accessed?
When using the Recent Publications option, it is possible to ensure from which system you are accessing the publication when more than one server has a publication with the same name. - What is the difference between working and default for languages and resolutions?
A publication's working language and working resolution are distinct from your account's overall default language and resolution settings, so it is important to understand the differences. - Can I add a template to the repository?
If you have new templates that you want to use in Content Manager, you add them to the repository. - How can I move (promote or demote) a topic in Publication Manager?
You can reposition topics or maps in Publication Manager without having to use your editing tool. - Can I disable the security risk dialog that appears when I select a topic?
You can configure Content Manager to disable the security warning that displays in the preview area when you select a topic in Publication Manager.
