Changing task attributes
Each task in the system has various attributes. Usually, your WorldServer administrator configures them by going to Management > Administration > Customization. You can change the attributes of any active task.
Procedure
- In WorldServer, go to the Projects page.
- On the Projects page, do one of the following:
- On the WorldServer 11 interface, expand the project group that contains the appropriate project, and then select the target locale of the project.
- On the Classic interface, click the name of the project corresponding to the appropriate target locale.
The tasks of the project are displayed on the Tasks page.
Tip: On the WorldServer 11 interface, you can view all the tasks in a project group, regardless of their target locale, by clicking the name of the project group on the Projects page. On the Classic interface, you can view all the tasks in a project group, regardless of their target locale, by selecting the Tree view check box, and then expanding the appropriate project and each of its locales. - On the Tasks page, select the check boxes corresponding to the tasks whose attributes you want to change.
- Do one of the following:
- On the WorldServer 11 interface, select Task Options > Change Attributes.
- On the Classic interface, select More Options > Task Options > Change Attributes.
- In the Change Task Attributes dialog box, make the necessary changes.
Note: If you selected one task, the value of each attribute is displayed next to it, so you can change it directly. If you selected multiple tasks, you need to select the check box next to the attribute whose value you want to change, and then change it. In this case, the same value is applied to all the selected tasks for that attribute.
- Select OK.
