Moving tasks

You can either move tasks to another existing project or include them in a new project. To move tasks to an existing project, that project needs to have the same locale as the tasks you want to move.

Procedure

  1. In WorldServer, go to the Projects page.
  2. On the Projects page, do one of the following:
    • On the WorldServer 11 interface, expand the project group that contains the appropriate project, and then select the target locale of the project.
    • On the Classic interface, click the name of the project corresponding to the appropriate target locale.

    The tasks of the project are displayed on the Tasks page.

  3. On the Tasks page, select the check boxes corresponding to the tasks that you want to move.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • On the WorldServer 11 interface, select Task Options > Move Task(s).
    • On the Classic interface, select More Options > Task Options > Move Tasks.
  5. In the Move Tasks dialog box, select whether you want to move the selected tasks to another existing project or to include them in a new project:

    • On the WorldServer 11 interface, select To an existing project, and then select the project in the Project list.
    • On the Classic interface, select To an existing project, select Next, and then select the project in the Project list.
    Include the selected tasks in a new project
    • On the WorldServer 11 interface, select To a new project, and then specify a name and a description for the project, as well as a workgroup.
    • On the Classic interface, select To a new project, select Next, and then specify a name and a description for the project, as well as a workgroup.
  6. Select OK (on the WorldServer 11 interface) or Finish (on the Classic interface).
