Configuring ARR

You can configure ARR to improve the way large graphics are handled.

Procedure

  1. Open IIS Manager.
  2. Open the site server.
  3. Open Sites.
  4. Increase the ARR timeout value by performing the following steps.
    1. Open Default Web Site.
    2. In the Actions panel Configure section, select Limits.
    3. In the Connection Time-out (in seconds) field, enter the increased value in seconds. For example, if the existing value is 120, enter 240.
    4. Click Ok.
  5. Increase the maximum allowed content length:
    1. In the site server home page, double-click Request Filtering. The Edit Request Filtering Settings window appears.
    2. In the Maximum allowed content length (Bytes) field, enter the increased value in bytes. For example, for 525 MB, enter 525000000.
    3. Click OK to save your settings and close the Edit Request Filtering Settings window.
  6. Exit IIS Manager.
