Configuring for email notification with project forwarding
To allow users to take advantage of the email notification feature, which provides users the ability to send email when they forward a project, edit the User Info property sheet on the user’s desktop object. Add the Contenta user’s email address in the Email field.
Procedure
- Log in to Contenta Explorer as sysadmin.
- Right-click on the user’s desktop, and then click Properties.
- In the resulting desktop property sheet, click in the User Info field.
- Enter the user’s email address in the Email field.
- Do this for each user you want to receive email notification that a project has been forwarded.
- Edit the registry on the Contenta Web server.
- Verify that the Contenta Web has network access to the email server; this is the SMTP server and address entered during the Contenta Web installation.
