    User Access Level

Enter the access level of the WorkPool.

    The default value is secure.

    Users

Select the users to include in the work pool.

Click the button to the right of the entry field to choose from the list of available users. Click in the check box next to the username to add the user to the workpool.

  5. Click Create to add the workpool to the Contenta database and exit the property sheet.
The following steps are automatically performed:
    • A role for the workpool is created and assigned to the desktop of the users specified in the Users field of the Workpool property sheet.

    • The WorkPool object is copied to the desktop of each user assigned to the work pool.

    • The WorkPool icon is displayed in the object display area on the sysadmin desktop.

If permissions or tools beyond what is available in BASE TOOLS is needed for workpool members, add the permissions and tools for the workpool role using pcmadmin—see Roles and Tool Boxes. Select the new workpool from the list of Roles to add the permissions/tools.

You can create a new workpool from an existing workpool and accurately have a new starting point for the workpool that includes the users, tools, and roles. When you copy the workpool, a role for new workpool is created and the user list is updated.
