Configuring translation management
Configuring Trisoft's translation management includes defining metadata that is applied when auto-generating targeted languages, defining source and pivot languages, and defining elements used when pre-translating content.
- Configuring source and pivot languages
Add the source and pivot languages to the translation configuration file. Languages that are not configured are not generated by Translation Management. - Configuring elements for pre-translation
List XML elements that are to be compared for pre-translation in the translation configuration file. - Configuring metadata for target languages
Metadata fields do not contain data when a target language object is created unless the fields are configured to be copied from the source language object in the translation configuration file. - Configuring translation management parameters
When the repository contains translated data, and a new source version is released, the system identifies the parameters for translation management and pre-translation. - Configuring the translation review workflow
We recommend you stick with the out-of-the-box statuses and status transitions for the translation review workflow. If you nevertheless need to make any change, this requires you add a<translationstatuses>element to the XML Translation Settings. - Translation management integration configuration
The configuration of the Translation management integration with WorldServer, TMS and File System is described. - Enabling and configuring the External Preview module
To allow external parties, for instance translators to see more contextual information (images, ...) when translating, Content Manager foresees an integration endpoint, the External Preview. - Using the External Preview module API
A description of how to access API documentation and tools to configure your External Preview module.
