Audit Trail Session and Transaction Reference
This list describes the events and types of information that Content Delivery captures in audit trails. All time stamps reflect the local time of the Content Delivery server.

| Starting the session | System and user information is captured by this event. The information includes the following:

| Logging in | User has successfully logged in. |
| Requesting the publication list | User has accessed the publication by clicking Publications. |
| Viewing the publication list | User has accessed the publication by accessing the document's URL directly by typing it in the browser or being directed to it by custom software, logging in, clicking the Back button in the browser, and so on. |
| Opening a publication | User has clicked the publication name in Publications. |
| Opening a document | User has viewed a document. |
| Opening a media file | When a user opens a document that includes media files (JPEG, SWF, and so on), this event records that the media files are opened. |
| Searching a single publication or multiple publications, with simple or advanced criteria | Tracks the user's search query string. |
| Opening a document as a result of a search | User clicks a document title within search results. |
| Printing a document | Tracks that the user clicked the Print icon within a document. |
| Setting filter conditions for searching and viewing documents | This information is tracked throughout the user's session. If he or she changes the filter conditions, the new conditions are tracked through his or her subsequent actions. Clearing the last filter, resulting in no filter features being selected, is recorded. | Clicking on a cross-reference in a document | This tracks only cross-references within a publication. Clicks on cross-references to other external publications or Web sites are not audited. |
| Changing the language of the user interface | Tracks that the user has changed the default language in his/her preferences. |
| Creating an XForm instance | Tracks when a user creates a new form instance. |
| Editing an XForm instance | Tracks when a user changes the content of his/her own form instance. |
| Replying to an XForm instance | User replies to an form instance, for example, comments on a document. |
