HTML 5.0 Rendering

The SDL LiveContent Reach API now returns HTML 5.0 renderings of topics, maps, and pages.

Previous revisions of SDL LiveContent Reach returned XHTML renderings of topics, maps and pages. Rendering now enables the use of HTML 5.0 elements in supported browsers. In addition, the HTML 5.0 pages will render with high fidelity with regard to spaces. This allows for the proper use of inline elements that are joined to a word (for example, E=MC2), but may also cause rendering issues if authors have entered spaces into data where they are not needed. In this case, the author should modify the data by removing unnecessary spaces.
