Configuring image resolutions

Before you configure SDL DITA2Trisoft, edit the ResolutionList.xml file so that DITA2Trisoft imports the correct image-resolution values the first time that you start the application.

Before you begin

Determine the applicable values for image resolutions in your SDL LiveContent Architect implementation. Consult your SDL LiveContent Architect Implementation Workbook for information.

Procedure

  1. Open the ResolutionList.xml file in a text editor.
    The file is located in the directory where you installed DITA2Trisoft. By default, DITA2Trisoft is installed to C:\Program Files\Trisoft\DITA2Trisoft.
  2. Ensure that the file properly maps file extensions to the image resolutions defined for your SDL LiveContent Architect repository.
    By default, the ResolutionList.xml file contains the following mappings.

  3. Save the modified ResolutionList.xml file.
  4. (If you previously started DITA2Trisoft) Reset the image resolutions:
    1. Start DITA2Trisoft.
    2. Click Select.
    3. In the File Extension to Resolution mapping window, select all the mappings and click Remove.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Restart DITA2Trisoft.
      DITA2Trisoft reads the contents of the ResolutionList.xml file and populates the contents of the File Extension to Resolution mapping window.
