Open Server-based Translation Memory Wizard > Select Translation Memory
Use the Select Translation Memory page of the Open Server-based Translation Memory wizard to select the translation memory from the server.
To display this page, select > > or click Add and select Server-based Translation Memory on the Translation Memory and Automated Translation page.
If you want to use a translation memory with languages that differ from the ones in your project, use the AnyTM: Any server-based TM option.
To select a translation memory, first select a server to display the list of translation memories and then double-click on a row to select it.

Server | Select the server from which you want to select your server-based translation memory. If the server you want to connect to is not listed, click the Servers button to display the Servers dialog box where you can specify server connection details. |
Tree | Select an organization or resource library from the tree to display the list of translation memories it contains on the right hand-side. |
Include subfolders | If you select this option, you can select a higher level location on the tree to display all translation memories within that location and the translation memories in all the sub-locations on the right-hand pane. |
Include project TMs | If you select this option, only main translation memory will be displayed on the right hand-side. |
Name | The information on this row relates to this translation memory. |
Description | The description of the translation memory on the server. |
Location | The organization or resource library where the translation memory is located. For more information about organizations or resource libraries, see the SDL Studio GroupShare Help. |
Type | Indicates if this is a project translation memory or main translation memory . |
Click Next to display the Select Language Pair page then click to open the server-based translation memory.
Permissions for viewing server-based TMs
Only users with the following GroupShare permissions can view server-based translation memories in SDL Trados Studio:
View TM
Write TU
Read TU
Batch Edit TU
