Opening a local TM that is not in the navigation tree

You can open a local translation memory (TM) even if it is not currently located in the navigation tree.

Procedure

  1. In the Translation Memories view, select File > Open > Open Translation Memory. The Open Translation Memory dialog box is displayed.
  2. Navigate to the location of the *.sdltm file, select the file and click Open. The translation memory is added to the Translation Memories folder in the navigation tree and is also opened for editing in the TM side-by-side editor window. The translation memory becomes the .
    • If the translation memory is password protected the Translation Memory Password dialog box is displayed. Select the highest access mode for which you have a password, enter the password and click OK.
