Configuring a Synchronization Target A Synchronization Target is used to synchronize data between a Content Manager Server and Presentation Server. For Outbound E-mail, a Synchronization Target is used to synchronize e-mail tracking data to compile statistics concerning the status of Mailings. You must specify the Synchronization Target used to keep Contacts and Mailings in that Publication in sync in a Publication Audience Management tab.
Configuring tracking The OutboundEmail.xml is the configuration file for Outbound E-mail and Audience Manager on the Content Manager Server. In the <TrackingCollectionInterval> setting you can specify the period of time, in seconds, the Collect Tracking Data service waits before checking to see if there is new tracking data on the presentation side.
