Adding older versions of an object to a translation job

This procedure can be used to add an older version of an object to an existing translation job.

About this task

Translation Jobs that have a status of Definition can be modified.

Procedure

  1. In the Content Manager web client, select the Repository tab.
  2. Locate and select the folder in the left pane that contains the item to be translated.
  3. In the upper right pane, select the item that you want to translate.
  4. To add an older version, select the version of the item in the lower right pane.
  5. Click Translation Job on the menu bar in the lower right pane.
  6. Click in the radio button, Add to Translation Job.
  7. In the bottom pane of the window, select the Translation Job to which this item is to be added.
  8. Click OK.
    The version selected is added to the selected Translation Job. To confirm:
    1. Select the folder Translation Jobs in the left pane of the repository view.
    2. Select the Translation Job to which you added the item in the right pane.
    3. Select Properties on the menu bar in the right pane.
    4. Select Added Items tab.
