Configuring Discovery Service security settings
To secure the Discovery Service, depending on your setup and security preferences, perform a number of configuration tasks.
Configuring the passwords of Content Delivery user accounts By default, access to the Content Delivery microservices is secured by OAuth. The Ambient Data Framework configuration file (cd_ambient_conf.xml) of the Discovery Service contains a number of predefined user accounts. To secure your setup, change the default passwords of these user accounts.
Configuring refresh token storage and expiration You can change the expiration time of refresh tokens, and in a scaled-out or Cloud-based setup, you must encrypt your refresh tokens and store them client-side.
Securing the microservice with SSL You may wish to secure your microservice using Secure Socket Layer (SSL), so that an HTTPS connection is required to interact with the service.
