Event Log

The Event Log tab is available to users with administrative privileges. It provides access to event log files for Content Manager processes and can be used for troubleshooting errors.

Content Manager performs a number of tasks in background. These processes handle the business behind the scenes. The main purpose of the event log is to indicate problems that may occur during the execution of background processes. The information inside the event log is valuable in your communication with the Content Manager support personnel.

  • Choose the type of event for which you want to view logs in the left pane; for example, publishing events, translation events, and so on.
  • Select the type of log on the menu bar in the upper right pane; for example, recent events, failed events, busy events, and so on.
  • Select the event in the upper right pane to display the log in the lower right pane.
