If your Content Manager Clients are running on a different machine to the Content Manager Server, after creating certificates you need to install the Core Service public.cer and Token Issuer private.pfx on this system. The following procedure describes how to install certificates on Windows 2016.
Procedure
- Start Microsoft Management Console (MMC).
- Go to .
- Select Certificates and click Add.
- Select Computer account and click Next.
- Select Local Computer and click Finish.
- Click OK to close Add/Remove Snap-in...
- Select the node .
- Import the Core Service public.cer certificate and add it to trusted certificates:
- Select the node and choose .
- Browse to the location on the file system where your Core Service public.cer file is stored, select the file and click Next.
- In the Certificate Store, accept the defaults and click Next.
- Click Finish to complete the import
The Certificate Import Wizard confirms the import was successful and closes the dialog.
- Add the Core Service certificate to trusted certificates:
- Open the node .
- Select the certificate Core Service certificate in the list and choose Copy in the context menu.
- Select the node and select Paste in the context menu.
- Repeat the process for Token Issuer private.pfx. Note that you need to provide passwords for private certificates.
