PasswordText fieldThe user's login password. For example, for basic authentication, the password must be at least seven characters long and it cannot match the username. Other authentication schemes have different rules for passwords.
Confirm PasswordText fieldThe user's login password, reentered.
First NameText fieldThe user's first name to be displayed in the user list.
Last NameText fieldThe user's surname to be displayed in the user list.
Full Name FormatRadio buttonsSelect whether to display last name first or last.
EmailText fieldA valid email address for the user. This is displayed in the user list.
User TypeDrop-down listThe role assigned to the user, either Administrator, Author, Editor, Project Manager, Reviewer, or Translator, or another defined user type. Depending on the user type assigned to a user, available WorldServer functionality varies.
VendorDrop-down listSpecify the vendor of which this user is to be a member.

The most common use of vendors is for reporting. You can group users together and then report on the work done by a particular vendor. WorldServer provides several reports for this purpose.

Vendors are associated with cost models, and this association can be used to assign a cost model for scoping a project.

Vendors must be defined to be listed and selected.

User Interface Display LanguageDrop-down listYou can select to have the WorldServer User Interface display in English or Japanese.
Regional Settings:Drop-down listYou can select regional settings to use when interacting with dates or numbers in WorldServer. Dates and numbers will then display in the format of that region.

This setting has no relationship to the “User Interface Display Language” you choose. These are likely to be different because WorldServer currently supports only two User Interface languages, but many regional settings.

In addition, there is no relationship between your operating system settings and your regional settings in WorldServer. For example, you might have your Windows operating system regional settings set to German, but this has no affect on your WorldServer regional settings.

For details, see the "Regional Settings" topic.
