Deleting individual entries from termbases

You can delete termbase entries when they are no longer necessary. Note that this is a permanent action.

Procedure

  1. In Trados Studio, select Sign in in the top-right corner to connect to your cloud account.
  2. Log in with your RWS ID credentials. Trados Studio shows all the cloud accounts that you are a member of.
  3. Select your cloud account name from the drop-down menu, and then select RWS Account at the bottom of the window. This opens your cloud account in your default browser where you are prompted to log in.
  4. In the cloud environment, go to the Terminology view or to the Projects > Resources > Termbases.
  5. Click inside a termbase row to open the termbase.
  6. Do one of the following:
    • If you can find the term that you want to delete in the left-side pane, select it..
    • If you cannot find the term that you want to delete in the left-side pane, search for it, and then select it.
  7. Select Delete Entry > Permanently delete the termbase entry.
