Termbase entries
Termbases are made up of units called termbase entries. A termbase entry consists of a term, term synonyms, and term fields. Trados Live Terminology is fully compliant with the principles of concept-based terminology management.
You decide on the number and the nature of term fields when you create the termbase.

You can add termbase entries manually following the instructions in this topic. To add termbase entries in batches, you must use the import operation. - Searching for termbase entries
Retrieve termbase entries faster and accurately by searching for them. - Editing termbase entries
If you have editing permissions, you can make changes to the term itself or to its fields. - Deleting individual entries from termbases
You can delete termbase entries when they are no longer necessary. Note that this is a permanent action. - Deleting all entries from termbases
You can delete all termbase entries at once if they are no longer necessary. Note that this is a permanent action. If you want to keep the entries, make sure you export the entries and the termbase definition (*.xdtfile) beforehand. - Linking termbase entries

You can create termbase filters to identify terms or term information (metadata) faster. - Applying termbase filters

You can delete the termbase filters you no longer need at any time. - Importing termbase entries
When you import termbase data, you populate your termbase with terminology. Cross-references created in MultiTerm are preserved when importing them in Trados Live Terminology. - Exporting termbase entries
When you export termbase data, you can store it locally for future reference or reuse it by importing it in another termbase. If you import the data back to Trados Live Terminology, all data types are preserved. However, if you import the data to MultiTerm, the cross-references you created in Trados Live Terminology, are not preserved. - Formats for data import and export
Use the following import and export termbase data formats: *.tbx, *.xml, *.xlsx and *.csv.
