When you manually connect segments,Trados Studio also confirms the alignment pair and sets the quality value for the alignment to the maximum value of 100. This enables you to create 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 2:1, 2:2, 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1 connections.

Connect

Disconnect

Select the connection line or select inside the connected segment, then select this option to disconnect an alignment. You can also right-click on the line one of the connected segments and select Disconnect from the context menu.

This breaks the current connection line and disconnects the alignment pair.

Connect 1:1

If you have multiple segments selected, the first unconnected source segment from selection will connect with the first unconnected target segment from selection, then the second one and so on.

Disconnect All

Select this option to disconnect all the alignment pairs that are currently connected. You may want to disconnect all pairs at once to ignore all the results of the automatic alignment.

Confirm

Select a connection line then this to accept an alignment pair that you verified as being as correct. When you confirm alignments, the draft, dotted connection line changes to a continuous, green line.

This sets all the alignments to Rating: Good, Quality Value: 100, Confirmed.

Confirm

Reject

Select a connection line to highlight the segments in blue then select this to reject a previously confirmed alignment.

When you reject a confirmed alignment, the continuous connection line turns into a dotted line. This sets the alignments that you reject after confirmation to Rating: Good, Quality Value: 100, Unconfirmed.

Confirm All

Select this option to confirm all the alignment pairs in the alignment result file. You may want to confirm all pairs at once to quickly set the quality value for all alignments to 100.
