You can edit translation engines at any time, but the changes you make to an existing translation engine affect both the current and future projects which reference the translation engine.
Procedure
- Connectez-vous à Trados Team (en cliquant sur ce lien : http://languagecloud.sdl.com/fr/lc).
- Accédez à l'affichage Ressources.
- Sélectionnez .
- Select the row corresponding to the translation engine you want to modify. Alternatively, select the name of the translation engine.
- Select Edit and make your changes. Note that you can add linguistic resources, as well as import TM and termbase content.
- You can add a target language which is not covered by the target languages in the TM. The system automatically adds the new target language to the TM. If there is at least one other target language for which the UPDATE check box is selected, then the new target language will have the UPDATE check box selected. If no other target language has the UPDATE check box enabled, then the new target language will have the UPDATE check box cleared. Consult the example below for more details.

- The check box (
LOOKUP or
CONCORDANCE or
UPDATE) is selected for all the target languages associated with the same source language.

- The check box (
LOOKUP or
CONCORDANCE or
UPDATE) is selected for some of the target languages associated with the same source language.
- To reorder the available MT provider, press the hamburger menu (
) of an MT provider, and then drag and drop it before or after another MT provider. You can also drag and drop several MT providers in one go, if you use CTRL and select the providers, or if you use SHIFT and select the first and last MT provider in a range.
- Select Save.
Example - Partially selected check box
For example, let's assume we have a TM called TM lego M. The
UPDATE setting has a partially selected check box (

).
When expanding the TM, we notice that for 4 target languages, the TM has the
UPDATE check box cleared.
