You are assigned a task in Trados Team, you accept the task in Trados Team, you work on the task in Trados Studio 2019
You are logged in to Trados Team. You want to access the Linguistic Review task assigned to you from the Inbox view in order to accept it and start working on it in Trados Studio.
About this task
These instructions apply if you have Trados Studio 2019.
Trados Studio does not support creating and working on projects which have the same source and target language. Local file download is restricted for these projects.
The offline and online way of working in Trados Studio is different when it comes to how cloud linguistic resources are displayed in the UI. Note that the way cloud linguistic resources are displayed in the Trados Studio UI does not impact the way lookups are retrieved.
The offline way of working entails that users download a package from the cloud environment and upload it in Trados Studio. The package includes a copy of the following cloud linguistic resources included in the cloud project: TMs and termbases. In Trados Studio, the cloud TMs can be viewed under Project Settings > Language Pairs > Translation Memory and Automated Translation, while the cloud termbases can be viewed under Project Settings > Language Pairs > Termbases.
- Under Project Settings > Language Pairs > Translation Memory and Automated Translation, consult the name of the translation engine which includes the cloud TM used in the project. The actual name of the TM can be consulted only if you log in to the cloud environment.
- Under Project Settings > Language Pairs > Termbases, select Cloud-based Terminology, select Settings and consult the names of the cloud termbases included in the project, under the Used column.
