Collective Spaces changes (15.1.0)
This release includes several changes to Collective Spaces, that is, Draft Space and Review Space.
General improvements to Collective Spaces
- Resetting filters
- Users can more easily and quickly reset filters for comments to their default state in the Comments navigation panel. For example, if you have selected to filter your comments to unresolved comments only, submitted by user John Doe in the first month of 2024, you can now reset all filters to default by selecting Reset filters in the navigation panel.
- Accessibility improvements
- In the document outline, the background color of the selected item is now darker and more prominent.
- User interface in Canadian French
- Draft Space and Review Space are both available in Canadian French.
Draft Space improvements
The following improvements are specifically for Draft Space:
- New Draft Companion feature for improving content quality

The new Draft Companion feature gives authors and editors a powerful yet easy-to-use tool for improving text, or even generating completely new text, using powerful AI capabilities.
The feature is available from Draft Space's side panel. Without leaving Draft Space, authors and editors can quickly get content suggestions and incorporate them into the draft.
Based on the user's selection of content and selected prompts, Draft Companion analyzes selected text and makes suggestions for transforming and improving text, even generating completely new text, using its powerful AI capabilities. Users can select from several predefined prompts or enter a custom prompt in a conversational interaction.
This release comes with the following predefined prompts:- Improve readability
- Fix grammar and punctuation
- Summarize
- Try again (to rephrase using different wording)
The available prompts and other aspects of Draft Companion are customizable through Organize Space.
Note that although the Large Language Model (LLM) behind Draft Companion is capable of producing results in multiple languages; this release of Draft Companion provides full support for American English only.
- Condition builder interface

Where previously, setting a condition on a piece of content required you to manually enter a condition string, now, as from 15.1, a more sophisticated condition builder interface lets you create complex conditions interactively.
- Edit attributes option on the Outline menu

A new Edit attributes option is available from the context menu that is available when users right-click on items in the Outline menu. This feature supports various use cases, such as adding conditions to entire topics or submaps.
Selecting this option opens the Attributes panel in the right sidebar and enables authors to edit the attributes of the following:- Any map in the publication.
- Links to submaps that are referenced in a parent map.
- Links to topics that are referenced in a map.
- Improved change tracking for tables

This release improves how changes to tables are displayed. When a column or row has been added, the change is highlighted in green, and when removed, the highlighting is red.
Note that the highlighting applies only when the table is not embedded within a paragraph element.
- Options for managing Navigation titles

The outline view's right-click menu now includes options for managing navigation titles. For any topic or map, the following options appear under the Navigation group: Add, Edit, Remove, Lock and Unlock
- Configuration improvements

BehaviorConfig.xmlfile includes the following improvements:- Prior to this release, the
toggletemplateelement allowed you to specify an XML element by itselementnamebut not any additional attributes. With release 15.1, you can now include an optionalattributessection with one or moreattributeelements.

Review Space improvements
- New display options
- Review Space now includes these options for easier viewing:
- A Zoom menu is available with the button located at the top left of the page, above the outline.
- In addition to increasing or decreasing the size of text, the Wide canvas option enables users to increase the width of the display area without changing the font size.
