Setting up FTP Servers

Procedure

  1. Click Tools tab > Add-ins.
  2. In the Add-ins window, go to the Tools tab, choose FTP Export Target from the list and click Setup.
  3. In the FTP Export Target Settings dialog, go to the FTP Connections tab.
  4. Click on New connection.
  5. Give the new connection a name and choose what type of connection you will be using (FTP or SFTP).
  6. Set up the server parameters:
    • Enter your host details (server and port). SFTP connections use the default SSH port (22).
    • Fill in the server credentials. For an SFTP connection, you can connect using the user/password combo, an SSH private key or both.
    • Fill in the server location that the connection will access in the Remote Folder field.
    • If your connection uses an HTTP Proxy, set it up.
  7. Test your connection by clicking Test , then start the assessment. After the assessment finishes, click Cancel.
Use the options at the top of the FTP Connections tab to manage your connections. You can duplicate a connection, change list order, delete, export and import connection templates.
